Get to Know NOLA
Believe it or not, there is life in New Orleans beyond the French Quarter. With their live oak tree-lined streets, awestriking antebellum mansions and charming Creole cottages, the Garden District and Uptown are two of the loveliest sections of New Orleans. Tulane and Loyola universities are right across St. Charles Avenue from Audubon Park, a picturesque place to walk or run off all the delicious calories you’ll consume while here. There are also many authentic, no-so touristy places to eat and shop along Magazine, Maple and Oak streets. And with easy access to the St. Charles streetcar line, you can hop on and off whenever you want, or stay on a while longer to explore other parts of the city. With a Jazzy Pass, you can ride all day long for just $3.00.
