But are hotel packages a good thing? What are the pros? What are the cons?
The pro of a hotel package is pretty obvious: When you make a room reservation and something else (like a shuttle to and from Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport), you save money! Its win/win, isn't it? Most of the time, the answer is yes! However, it's always a good idea to do your homework. You need to do the math and make sure that you're really saving money.
