Here’s to a quick recovery from all of your Mardi Gras madness, because March is a busy month with events you won’t want to miss. We’ve got live music, festivals, parades, and just an overall amazing time. Did we mention March weather is amazing? 
Wednesdays at the Square Concert Series March 15 - May 17, 2017 This free 12-week live concert series features local artists showcasing an array of music. 
BUKU Music + Art Project March 10 - 11, 2017  Blending iconic New Orleans traditions with youthful energy, this18 and up music festival features electronic music and classic New Orleans cuisine.
St. Patrick's Day Celebrations March 10 - 19, 2017 Mardi Gras just ended but you better get ready to party because New Orleans does St. Paddy’s Day in a big way with parades, block parties, and corned beef and cabbage. 
St. Joseph's Day and Irish-Italian Annual Parades March 18 - 19, 2017 Any reason for a parade is welcome and this is no exception, and it overlaps with St. Patrick’s Day!
Tennessee Williams Literary Festival March 22 - 26, 2017 at New Orleans This event attracts internationally known figures, such as Alec Baldwin, Dick Cavett and noted author Calvin Trillin. Festival activities revolve around Le Petit Theatre du Vieux Carré, the Cabildo of the Louisiana State Museum, the Historic New Orleans Collection, the Palm Court Jazz Café and the Contemporary Arts Center.
New Orleans Bourbon Festival March 24 - 26, 2017 at New Orleans From seminars to tastings, festival goers will learn all about bourbon. But this festival is for legal drinking age adults only.
Spring Fiesta March 25 - April 2, 2017 Tour plantation homes, French Quarter Creole cottages and patios, and Garden District mansions. Free classical concerts and opera performances are held all around town. Tickets needed. The second weekend is April 1-2, 2017.
Bloody Mary Festival March 26, 2017 Live music and unlimited tastings. Do we need to say more?
Hogs for the Cause March 31 - April 01, 2017  Drawing chefs and music artists from all over, Hogs for a Cause is one of the best barbecue festivals in America!
