A Few Rooms Left This Mardi Gras Season

Mardi Gras day is almost here and we can’t wait! However, if you haven’t reserved your room yet, you still have time to make last minute plans. A few of our favorites have rooms available—but hurry because we can’t guarantee they’ll be available long!

French Quarter

With easy access to all things New Orleans, the French Quarter is the best known neighborhood in New Orleans. It is home to the world-famous Bourbon Street, Jackson Square, the French Market, and more! Staying in the French Quarter, you’ll have easy access to some of the best food and entertainment New Orleans has to offer. Although no major float parade rides through the Quarter, hop on the St. Charles streetcar line for easy access. (Be sure to check times because the streetcars stop running up to two hours before a parade begins and begin their route after the parades end).

Maison Dupuy: If you haven't seen the couryard at the Maison Dupuy, you've haven't been to New Orleans. This unique boutique is a slice of tranquility just steps Bourbon Street. Bistreaux restaurant, located inside the hotel, is a must-experience as well.

Availability during Mardi Gras season: Amazingly enough, Maison Dupuy has a few rooms left from Sunday, February 11 through Fat Tuesday, February 13. Book NOW!

Hotel Provincial: Tucked away in the French Quarter, you’ll feel like you’re in another world when you stay at Hotel Provincial. The luxurious boutique hotel features a secluded courtyard with salt water pools and a European fountain, periodic décor, and balconies overlooking the pathway.

Central Business District

Getting around during Mardi Gras can be tricky, so we recommend staying within walking distance of the parades or a short streetcar ride away— the Central Business District offers just that. It’s centrally located between the Convention Center and French Quarter with easy access to major New Orleans attractions. Bonus: You can also walk to the parade route! If you want to catch the parade at the beginning of the route, hop on the streetcar—it’s just a short ride. The sooner the better, the streetcars stop running up to two hours before the parade and pick back up after the parades are complete.

Best Western Plus St. Christopher: Designed by famous architets Sully and Toledano, this 19-century luxury boutique hotel offers both historic cham and all the modern conveniences you'd expect from a Best Western Plus. Located at the foot of Magazine Street on the edge of the French Quarter, the St. Christopher offers convenient access to the downtown parade route, French Quarter fun and everything you love about New Orleans.
